Дилер или спекулянт, у которого имеется открытая “длинная” позиция (long position) по чему-либо, обычно по биржевому товару, которая на бумаге показывает прибыль, однако дилер не может эту прибыль реализовать, поскольку не находится покупателей, предлагающих более высокие цены. Более того, чисто финансово он может быть полностью связан обязательствами, поэтому не в состоянии увеличить свою “бычью” позицию, даже если бы он этого хотел.
